How to get there

The most direct route is by air from airports in the UK to Larnaca airport in Cyprus. British Airways and Cyprus Airways both provide direct flights throughout the year and a number of other carriers operate charter flights from April to October including Thomson, Thomas Cook and FlyGlobeSpan. Monarch launched a new route from London Luton to Larnaca in April 2007.

How to get around

"What a lovely place and how safe for our baby to roam around with the safety of the pool fence up. Thank you."
- Mrs Reyner, 08/07/07

On arrival we offer a meet and greet service. Teresa, our representative, can either meet you at the villa or, for a small additional charge, will pick you up at the airport and drop you off for your return journey. The cost of this is £30. When you consider a taxi for 4 people plus luggage costs CYP10 each way (about £12) it’s quite a bargain if you have a larger group requiring more than one taxi. This service also gives you peace of mind that you don’t have to worry about finding the villa in the dark in a foreign place. If you decide to hire a car and pick it up on arrival we will send you clear directions to Amy’s Place. It is a very easy route and takes no more than 15 minutes. There is plenty to keep you occupied in the immediate vicinity of the villa that is easily walkable, including shops, restaurants and the all important beach. However, if you want to get out and about and explore the island then we recommend hiring a car. There are a number of companies at the airport and bookings can be made in advance or on arrival. We usually use Petsas and have never had any problems. Alternatively, simply speak to Teresa when you arrive and she will be able to organise it for you. In peak season we would strongly advise booking in advance.

In Cyprus they drive on the left hand side of the road just like in the UK , so there it's very easy to get in the car and drive.

You will find a number of maps in the villa for your use during your stay. We simply request that you leave them where you found them for future guests to use.

Weather

Generally the weather in Cyprus is pretty good all year round. It does get very hot in July and August and can still be in the mid to high 20s at late as November.
