Booking Agreements

In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday experience for our guests and to enable us to maintain the highest possible standard of accommodation we respectfully request that you read the following agreements thoroughly prior to booking and agree and adhere to these agreements should you choose to book your holiday accommodation with us.

Rental Charges for Amy's Place

• Prices quoted are per week for the rental of Amy's Place, NOT per person and therefore is the same whether the booking is for two people or six.
• Rental will be charged on a weekly basis to include 7 nights at the prevailing rate for the dates booked.
• For bookings longer than 7 nights but shorter than 14 nights the prevailing weekly rate will be charged plus a pro-rata rate for each additional night (weekly rate divided by 7 then multiplied by number of nights).
• For dates straddling a change over of monthly rate the relevant pro-rata rate will be charged for each night booked.
• If arrival is late at night or in the early hours of the morning, that will be taken as the first night of accommodation. e.g. If arriving at 2:00am Saturday morning, Friday night will be classed as the first night.
• Heating, air conditioning, linen and bath towels are all INCLUDED in the price of the weekly rental. We do however ask that you please bring your own beach towels for use around the pool or on the beach.

Booking

• Amy's Place is available for bookings on all dates shown on the availability calendar. Arrival and departure dates are flexible so please speak to us about your requirements.
• A provisional booking can be made by telephone or email.
• Provisional bookings will be held for one week to give guests time to forward a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental by cheque or bank transfer.

Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental is payable to secure a booking. This can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Bookings will only be considered as confirmed once a deposit has been received.
• A balance payment is payable by cheque or bank transfer no later than 8 weeks prior to date of arrival. An email reminder may be sent out up to two weeks before payment is due.
• The balance payment must include payment of any optional extras that have been ordered as per the booking form to ensure they are provided.
• We ask for a refundable breakages/damages deposit of £150 with all bookings. We ask that this is paid with the balance payment and will be refunded within 14 days of your departure from Amy's Place if no breakages/damages have occurred during your stay in the villa. If breakages/damages have occurred the cost of replacements will be deducted and a cheque for the balance returned to you within 14 days of your departure from Amy's Place.
• Please report any breakages, damage to the property or any other problem as soon as it occurs.

Confirmation

Once we receive your booking form and deposit you will receive an email confirmation with details of when to send the balance. On receipt of the balance payment you will receive via email full details of what to do on arrival and how to find Amy's Place

Cancellation Policy

• The 25% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable.
• If cancellation of the booking is necessary we require written confirmation as soon as possible.
• If cancellation takes place between 4 and 8 weeks prior to the arrival date we will offer a full refund of the breakages deposit and 50% of any other monies paid, with the exception of the non refundable deposit.
• If cancellation takes place within 4 weeks of arrival we regret no refund will be given.

General

• No smoking is permitted inside Amy's Place at any time.
• Amy's Place will be cleaned before you arrive but will not be cleaned during your stay. Interim cleaning and linen change is available for an additional charge on request.
• Any booking made is for the people named on the booking form. No letting or sub-letting is permitted.
• Beds will only be made up for the number of people on the booking form. We reserve the right to charge for additional linen used for any guests not listed on the booking form.
• We reserve right of access to the property at any reasonable time during the rental period.
• We endeavour to ensure all appliances, fixtures and fittings are in good working order but cannot guarantee their availability at all times.
• A person authorised by us will visit the property twice weekly in the summer months and once a week in the winter months to clean and maintain the swimming pool.
• In extreme circumstances we reserve the right to accommodate you in alternative accommodation to a similar standard.
• We strongly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance to cover all members of your party for all eventualities.

Air Conditioning

• Use of the air conditiong is included in the price of the rental.
• The air conditioning is operated by inserting the fob in the box in the living room.
• We respectfully ask that you only use the air con with windows and doors closed when you are inside the property.  It can not work effectively with windows and doors open and it only takes a couple of minutes to cool a room when you come back in.

Keys & Security

• Keys will be given to you on arrival at Amy's Place and must be left in the villa on departure.
• Loss of keys will be charged at £40 each for the main villa key and the Blue Serenity entrance gate.
• All doors and windows must be locked when leaving the property for any period of time.
• The private swimming pool is available for your enjoyment. There is a safety fence but no life-guard present and safety is the responsibility of the rental party.
